Blessed Doom, by Alyssa Brooks
Belle Garret has never put much stock in horoscopes, and today's no different. After all, how can she believe a cryptic message that tells her to beware of blessings disguised as doom, and doom disguised as blessings? And besides, she has more important things to worry about. Like the unexpected inheritance of the Rosewood Plantation, and a great deal of money to go with it. But the plantation isn't exactly what Belle expects. It seems to require a lot more upkeep than she'd bargained for, and in the dead of night, it's just plain creepy. Luckily, Noah, the caretaker, is more than willing to help her overcome her fright...

Sweet Patience, by Melissa Schroeder
Patience Sawyer is living her dream. She's on her way to opening the bed and breakfast she's always planned on owning. The Rosewood Plantation is the perfect location for a quaint, charming retreat. There's only one problem: the chef is arrogant, aggravating, and much too sexy for his own good. Can Chance MacGuire show Patience that they can be partners in more than just the business sense?

Alyssa Brooks and Melissa Schroeder have written two steamy tales of love in South Carolina. The setting comes alive in both stories through wonderful descriptions and highly charged plot points that hinge on the Rosewood Plantation as much as on the characters themselves.

In Blessed Doom, Noah's acceptance of Belle and his infinite patience in letting her discover the truth about the plantation on her own are heartwarming and believable. The ending also promises love everlasting, leaving readers with a pleasant conclusion.

Melissa Schroeder brings together two very independent, highly motivated characters in Sweet Patience. When these two are in the same room together, sparks ignite into flame. A delicious romance, a sexy alpha male and three overprotective brothers make this story a truly satisfying read.
