Joell is babysitting the mansion and is the one who receives the call asking the League to find out what happened to eight people who have disappeared from a romance convention. Joell is hesitant to accept the job because the ladies have been extremely busy lately and have had no time off. That’s not the only reason she hesitates. It’s THAT time of the month and all weapons have been locked up. Who wants a bunch of PMSing women with super powers to have weapons in their hands? When she finds out that it was male models that disappeared, Joell changes her mind and accepts the job.

Wonder Witch is a wonderfully entertaining story told from the point of view of Joell’s cat familiar named Crowe. I found Crowe to be an absolute hoot and some of his antics will have you rolling with laughter. Ms. Chase has also added a little twist towards the end of the story that I never saw coming.

I highly recommend Wonder Witch to anyone who feels the need to escape from reality. Not only will this book make you laugh, it also has a nice little romance to go with it.
