In this third book Ms. Violet brings the pack together to defeat Number Two, son of the Toulousian King. The author continues to teach Derek how to be a better husband, lover and pack leader. Serena gains confidence in her magic by combining forces with many of the pack members.

Ms. Violet does an excellent job of building her characters through the three parts of this series. Each could be read alone as an erotic adventure but are much better read in series to get the full effect.

The author seems to have a great grasp of group dynamics. Whether wolf or human she shows us through fiction in this tale how people have to trust and open up to really make a group work together. Serena becomes a catalyst in helping the pack live up to its potential in battling evils of the world. This is an easily read, fast moving book.
