Maddy and Rafe are cops who have worked closely together in the past. So close in fact, they had a very sensual encounter.

Luckily for Maddy, she wasn't alone with Rafe, this time they were working with another cop named Franco. Franco decides they all should go out for dinner to celebrate what they had accomplished thus far. Outside the hotel, two Monks are robbed. Being a cop, Maddy does her job and stops the thief. After returning the bag to the Monks, the older one gives Maddy a ring and tells her to make a wish and it will come true.

The interaction between the hero and heroine was like any interaction between two people trying to fight the way they felt for each other. Once the boundaries were broken the interaction spiced up and it was the way two lovers would act towards one another.

Maddy knows she has to fight her feelings because like in any other workplace you cannot date a co-worker. Not only could one of them, if not both of them lose their job it could get someone killed in the process.

The story is fast and to the point, it's hot and your ultimate wildest erotic dream. If you are looking for a quick read or something to help spice up your relationship this story has all elements you'll need.

I gave this short story 4 hearts because it's hard to capture not only sex between two people but the way they feel and like in a long novel you have points of tension that add up and in a short story most authors rush to the finish line. But Cassandra Kane was able to add those points that let you know the tension; you even feel the rush as her characters feel the rush. But can true love hide who you really are?
