This book is a trio of stories by three great authors; the title did not exaggerate! These women are wild in every way! The authors all did wonderful jobs depicting these “ladies” (and I use the term hesitantly), and the epics are noteworthy. The women are strong and the men whom they love are just as robust as readers would expect from these three well-known novelists.

Delilah Devlin presented “A Taste of Honey,” about, of course, a girl named Honey. She lived and traveled in a customized wagon selling her elixirs and potions. She is best known for her elixir of love (similar to our Viagra!). The women all loved her—their leader was the minister’s wife—and the men were excessively tired. The only complainer in the bunch was a single man; the sheriff wanted her run out of town before she caused more trouble.

“Queen of Hearts” by Layla Chase tells the story of Lissa Tayte, gambler and entertainer extraordinaire, and owner of the riverboat, Captain Roark Sheridan. Since this particular boat previously belonged to her family, Lissa decided she should try to win it back! The clash was, at times, brutal, but the outcome was anything but.

Myla Jackson gave us “Touch of Magic,” about a magician Catarina and the man who caught her interest, Trace Adams. He had no qualms about voicing his skepticism; she had to prove his heckling unfounded to enable her to continue working in Abilene, Kansas. Catarina had no where else to go, so she needed a week’s worth of income so that she and her assistant could get to Chicago to live with relatives.

This book is an explicit look at the conquests of three “wild” women and the men who attracted them. There are many secondary characters that lend much to the stories and help to keep the reader’s interest. There are definite surprise endings to these plots and I believe that you will be glad to have read this light-hearted set of stories. I recommend it highly!
