Ms. Drake takes on a subject like unresolved grief and builds it into a love story. Her characters’ fears, memories and emotions are shared boldly. We can see Gareth sitting with his mouth open as his first love and his current wife share their love for one another. The fact that the author turns such a serious matter as death and grieving into erotic fiction may offend some people but it is fiction and we all build our dreams one way or another. I think many readers will enjoy this book.
