Vivian Foster wants one thing and that's revenge against the man she believes is responsible for her best friend's death even though it was ruled as suicide. The only way she sees at getting it is by sabotaging a merger he's worked so hard at getting.

When Javier Riviera finds Vivian hiding in the closet of his office, he figures he needs to keep her close as he knows she's hiding something, especially when he finds one of his file folders in her bag. Whisking her off to Paris, Javier must find a way to get her to unwind and tell him what's going on before she can ruin his life.

From the start I enjoyed this story as the plot was so full of intrigue with Vivian breaking into Javier's office to find evidence that he killed her best friend as well as find a way to sabotage his merger. As for the plot itself, it ran smoothly and combined with the strong dialogue, captured the alpha attitude of the hero and the naivety of the heroine so well making this book an amazing read. The sex scenes heated the story nicely and illustrated the strong attraction these two had even though Vivian hated him in the beginning for what she believed he'd done to her best friend. While with Javier, I liked how obsessed he became and the extremes he went to in learning what Vivian was hiding from him. The handcuffs and assigned bodyguard were a nice touch in making sure she didn't escape his watchful eye.

Overall, Ms. Falcone has done a great job of penning this story which was a fantastic read that I would recommend to all romance readers that love a heroine after revenge and a hero set on discovering all her secrets.
