Vivian Montrose had worked very hard to climb the professional ladder. Her wedding planner position at The Victoria Royale Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas was wonderful. The promotion she had worked so diligently to get was dependant upon the success of the wedding she had recently been assigned. Usually she worked on several weddings at a time. However, this wedding was one with no monetary limits and she only had to please the young bride and her cousin who was paying for the whole thing.

J.R. Haddery looked upon Dawn as a little sister. When his parents died, Dawn’s parents, his aunt and uncle, raised him. After acquiring his fortune, Dawn’s extravagant wedding was his ‘thank you’ to the entire family. He had put his growing need for a family on hold while he managed to grow his company. He wasn’t sure what hit him when he first laid eyes on Viv. All he knew was that he had to spend a lot of time with her.

Ms. Cheryl Dragon created a great book about two alpha characters colliding. Both were highly professional and constantly put their work first. The way she developed these two and the sparks that flamed when they were together was well written. She made the couple so believable and so vulnerable that it was impossible not to want to see them succeed.

The secondary characters, including the bride, the groom, the maid of honor and several others were diverse and made the storyline funny as well as fast-paced. There was no time when the book didn’t flow. It was something I found myself reading faster and faster trying to catch up with the happenings. The myriad of happenstance actions kept me entertained. The sensual activities were scorching and frequent. The underlying problems faced were alluded to but intertwined throughout the story well.

The ending was thankfully a HEA. However, it was admittedly a big surprise. I recommend this book to anyone who loves heated romance.
