| When attorney Reed Kensington returns home after being abroad, his life changes considerably. He accepts a nice, cushy job at a prestigious law firm and starts a
relationship with soldier Trevor West. All is not smooth sailing as the relationship progresses. After all is said and done, will love champion all?
This one could have been a contender with the promising and rather interesting premise. The author's blurb is a attention grabber and I expected a really good read. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectation. I struggled from the beginning to get through page after page. I kept getting lost in the plot that was kind of all over the place. I didn't connect with the characters and found it hard to believe in the romance between these two men. There are parts of this story that totally defy belief and I had a hard time getting past that. The author's overly extravagant use of flowery language only added to my dismay. On a positive note, the plot had good potential and I did like the military essence of the story.
