Unbreakable is an exciting, erotic love story between two people who fight to protect our world from the things that go bump in the night. There is a lot going on in this engaging plot but it is never confusing or difficult to follow the action. There is a lot for Jordan to deal with, not the least of which is Gage being alive having abandoned her for five years, and her police buddies are trying to arrest the world's only hope for survival. Gage is a sexy alpha who did it all for his ladylove's protection. It is hard for him to deal with having to think of Jordan as an equal. They both grow and change throughout the story as they deal with loss, love and lots of action. Gage's fellow Shadow Destroyers are interesting and fun secondary characters that help to keep the plot moving at a smooth fast pace. There are no slow spots in this intense saga of fast loving, fast action, and first in a new series. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the next one.
