Toby is the only survivor of a stage coach accident. He awakens unsure where he is. There is an underlying chemistry between Toby and Buckshot that Toby does not allow himself to admit. Toby and Buckshot find themselves working together as more murders are discovered. Although not sure of what help he can be, Toby is along for the ride until he can at least obtain the funds to return home.

When they come across a tribe of Native Americans things really become bizarre. There is a tale of a demon that murders in a way similar to the man Buckshot trails. A legend tells of two warriors that defeated him in the past. The Native Americans believe that Toby and Buckshot are the same two warriors reincarnated to fight against this evil that has once again been set loose against man.

Two Spirits is a thrilling and sometimes frightening adventure. It sweeps the readers up into a world of magic and folklore. The readers will find themselves quickly becoming attached to the characters of Toby and Buckshot as they become part of a fight in the balance between good and evil.

Ranger Buckshot Atkins is everything that makes a hero. He is brave and strong, with a heart that cares about those around him. Readers hope he will survive the upcoming confrontation with evil and find happiness.

Toby is a man accused of being prissy. He is not expected to be brave and he finds himself the butt of jokes and threats. He has a heart of gold. Readers will want him to find someone who will love and take care of him.

These two spark with a fiery chemistry that refuses to be kept hidden and bursts free with heart stopping passion. This is an erotic romance with plenty of steamy encounters to stimulate the readers’ imagination. But aside from the physical aspect of a relationship it is easy to see these two have more involved than a temporarily relief of bodily needs.

Aside from the romance readers will be enthralled by this evil that has been set free to kill. The Native American aspect of the story is fascinating with the belief in reincarnation and its stories of gods and goddesses. Readers will be anxious to discover the final outcome of the confrontation that is destined. Readers may need to be warned about the large amount of violence and bloodshed described throughout the story. Some scenes are quite gruesome in description but they get the point across about the need to stop the killing. Two Spirits by Kiernan Kelly is recommended to the readers as a fascinating thriller and passionate romance.
