The Truth About Daydreams

Contemporary romance

Lexi Harper was always a wild child. If she wasn't daydreaming about Brad Malloy she and her partner in childhood, Sammy Malloy, were into mischief. Returning to her hometown after college and a real job she's hoping to pick up where the shyer version of herself couldn't and see where her daydreams could take her. What a shock to find that four years has made some noticeable differences in the brothers.

Donna Michaels crafts a story that may be as familiar as real life to many of us. She makes it's easy to remember those past loves that may have been high up on a pedestal at one time. Time and distance seems to change things for most of us. This is a sometimes funny look at how those childhood heroes can shrink down to human size. What a fantastic characterization of relationships, both real and imagined, and how they change over time. Except for mothers…that sixth sense of theirs never seems to change! The book will leave you with a smile on your face.
