I have waited with great anticipation for Lynne Connolly's next book in her Dept 57 series, having had the pleasure of reading the previous novels in this series. Sometimes when an author has a multi book series, the books become less exciting and loose momentum. This is not the case with Topaz Delirium. In fact, it's by far the best. This is an incredible sensuous and emotional story, filled with tension and enough action and suspense to keep me riveted to every word. Lynne Connolly is a truly gifted writer whose characters and world come to life in her stories. I sincerely hope to see the previous books that are not already available back on those shelves. They are not to be missed for those that have yet to delve into the lives, love, and intrigue of Dept 57.
