| Delphine le Vasseur married Francios Le Vasseur, a middle class merchant, and was given everything but love. She lacked freedom and could not leave the house without her husband's permission. When she is taken captive by Captain Jack Lott, he fully intends to use her for his pleasure. Now she must find a way of escaping. But when Quinn comes to her aid, has she just gone from one pirate to another?
Quinn MacDermott is Captain of the Royal Navy. He is a pirate hunter who wishes to put a stop to Lott and the other corrupt pirates. He never imagined he would find treasure when he met Delphine. Delphine was not supposed to survive the attack on the ship. The pirates had no idea that she was the wife of the man financing their dirty deeds. Quinn must stop the crooked pirates but he never expected to find solace in the arms of a lovely woman. Now the two must find a way to be together always. Till Death Do Us Part is filled with betrayal, hate, and treachery. I loved the part when Delphine was finally reunited with her husband. I could almost see the expression on his face. Ms. Mueller allows the reader to actually visualize the scene. There were moments I could almost smell the ocean and feel the attack of the pirates, all the way down to the cannonball striking the ship. Ms. Mueller brings the characters and the scenery to life, leaving a lasting impression with her words. Quinn and Delphine are strong believable characters. This is a worthy read and a complete page-turner.
