| The Blood Tapestry: The Cure, is a vampire romance. It tells the story of Valian, a three hundred-year-old vampire and his desire to regain his mortality. It is his search for a cure to vampirism that leads him to Dr. Chancella Tremaine. Chancella is a biologist who has written a book about a cure for vampirism. She does not really believe in vampires but she has come up with a way of reanimating cells. If there were such a thing as vampires she was sure she would be able to cure them. Someone else is also aware of Dr. Tremaines claims, an enemy of Valian. This enemy will do anything to keep Valian from obtaining his goals. Chancella and Valian will have to work together and this brings them together romantically.
The Blood Tapestry: The Cure is appropriately titled due to the fact that Valian is indeed in search of a cure. This is a very unique type of vampire story. How many vampires actively searching for a way to regain their mortality have you ever read about? The plot is well organized and fully developed. This makes for fast paced reading. The characters are interesting and described in detail. You will come to understand the characters and what motivates them. The dialogue is logical and easy to follow. The setting is present day and described in a way that makes the story easy to imagine as you read. The story is thought provoking and emotionally stimulating, while the romance aspects of the story are mildly sensual. If you like vampire romances you will enjoy this book.
