|When Tasmin the Earthling consort of Prince De Marcos is kidnapped, everyone knows she needs to be quietly and quickly found for the good of the Seven Kingdoms. It's going to take the best that both worlds have to accomplish. Can Lady LaJesa and Marine Mick Thaxton find a way to work together long enough? When they meet there's no denying the attraction between the two of them, but cultural differences keep them apart at least until they have to pretend there's more between them not only save the consort, but get out safely too. Are they really just pretending? Or is there actually something between them?
This fun book is the third book in the Aurora series, and this time I would recommend that to really enjoy the book you have at least read the first book, although personally I've enjoyed the whole series so far. I say splurge and get them all! If you have read the previous books this one feels a bit shorter, but it still has great characters that are so much fun to read and watch interact, not to mention getting us a few more sneak peaks at life on the alien planet. Not to mention the really fun chemistry and clashes between Mick and LaJesa that lead to some great sex scenes that are hotter than the Auroran desert.
