Sandra Larsen hated David Jenkins. The fact that their best friends had just gotten married worried her. When Jenny and Mark Thompson returned from their honeymoon, they would likely want to hang around with other couples, not two individuals who couldn't stand to be in the same room. Karen, David's big mouthed sister, didn't hesitate to tell the two of them that they needed to work out their differences or they would lose their best friends.

She suggested that Sandra and David spend their evenings together and try to get along. They agreed to go somewhere every night for a week—alternating who planned and who paid. They went to a restaurant so Sandra could critique the food. He hated Japanese food and had a violent reaction. They went to a tractor pull because David loved it so much. Sandra hated the noise and the smell and went home with smelly clothes because a young boy threw up all over her.

Ms. Meg Allison has written a unique, fun-loving novella about a couple who could not stand to be together. As you can already tell, there were some hilarious parts to this great manuscript. The two were complete opposites. As Ms. Allison gave us more information about this couple, it was still almost impossible to see how she would give readers a happily ever after. The couple was strong and determined but nothing alike.

This is a great book with something for everyone. I highly recommend it to all.
