What a sensational book! This is my first Patrice Michelle novel, but I can guarantee that it will not be my last. I absolutely love her writing style and her sexual scenes are scorching, but tastefully done. I can guarantee that anyone who reads this particular story will feel the excitement! This book will take the reader on a sensual journey that is sure to please.

Susan Brennon, a partner in her PR firm, has almost everything! Except someone for herself…her parents had died 12 years ago, leaving her to practically raise her younger brother Jason (27). Now Jason was leaving, too, because he was getting married. So, Susan refused to allow herself to become enamored by a man who would also leave. She had a problem allowing anyone to get into her heart! And then Melanie, Jason’s fiancée, hysterically requested that Susan run an errand for her—intercede with Piccoli’s, an up-scale restaurant in East Hampton. Melanie was a socialite but she was afraid she would make things worse if she told the manager that the menu was not acceptable.

When Susan met with the manager of Piccoli’s Restaurant, she met Michael; of course, she did not know he was Michael Piccoli; he agreed to make the changes IF she would have dinner with him on Friday night (the night of the rehearsal dinner). He became her date without her being aware of exactly who he was.

Their relationship was so unlike any other plot that it was refreshing to follow. He started out by calling her Susanna because he said she looked like “a Susanna.” Ms. Michelle developed her characters extremely well; the two main people had agendas of their own—these were expanded in such a way that I had to fall in love with both of them. Not a page in this book was unnecessary; it told a marvelous story which even surprised me at the end. I recommend this book to all! It’s that good!
