| Deidre Cummings’ best friend Ginny runs an escort service in New Orleans. All of her escorts are booked, so she asks Deidre to fill in for one night by going to a dinner with wealthy philanthropist Sean Patrick McDougall. Against her better judgment, Deidre agrees to help her friend out and is pleasantly surprised at how well the evening goes. Sean is hot but she knows statistics give them very little chance of having more than a fling.
Caryn Carter has written a great tale that reinforces the fact that hearts often overrule statistics. These characters and the scenarios they get into are erotic as heck. Who could resist a man willing to woo his woman with a limo equipped with a hot tub? One thing after another seems to prove to them both that the other is special but Deidre isn’t convinced. Statistics seem to be right when they run into one another socially and Sean wants nothing to do with her. Ms. Carter keeps the reader interested from first page to last with this well crafted romance.
