| Catherine Cullen-Wellesley wanted to surprise her husbands, Rhys and Logan on their 5th anniversary dinner celebration with the exciting new, a baby to add to their family. Yet once again her men stand her up and let business problems get in the way, another disaster, another excuse and they drop everything including Catherine in their need to succeed. The betrayal and heartache are overwhelming for Catherine. Over the last few years Rhys and Logan have been striving to reach the level of success in their eyes but the cost is too high in Catherine’s eyes and heart.
A Jamaican paradise vacation was supposed to be a chance for Catherine and her guys to spend time together celebrating, relaxing connecting and loving, no work allowed. But again disaster hits and her guys are forced to put her off. Fed up Catherine decides she has some serious thinking to do about her future now that her impending motherhood is weighing in the balance and Jamacia is just the place to do it. Rhys and Logan return home to an empty house and realize some cold hard truths! They rush to find their Catherine and prove to her beyond a shadow of a doubt how much they both love her and aren’t willing to give her up with a fight. But is love enough? And is it too late? Stay With Me is a hauntingly emotional riveting novel that will leave you with a tear in your eye and a smile on your face. Ms. Banks has taken a heart-wrenching look at a marriage that is falling apart but not for the lack of love. The characters are believable, the emotional degrees intense but understandable and the love throughout the novel is like a shining beacon searching for the way home after a long journey of discovery. Of course, Rhys and Logan have the distinctive Alpha traits that Ms. Banks is so famous for. And it just wouldn’t be a Maya Banks novel with those sensually steamy love scenes! I absolutely love everything Maya Banks writes and this book is no exception. If you are looking for a fantastic read, look no further than this one to heat up a chilly spring night.
