Alloy Love
Helen Cameron works in the AddamsTech marketing department, well noted for sex toys. She mulls over the prospect of having a child. Of course she really hasn't met anyone she considers making a home with. Rodger Addams created a device to help pleasure others without the actual contact. He still believes the V-plague is out there and if people start having sex again then the population will falter. Helen's thoughts quickly change about Rodger's idea when she meets her new colleague Sandhil Narayan, who puts a different spin on life for her.

Claude's Laboratory
Jane Howard is a well-read woman with a fine, open mind, with an interest in sciences who has just been taken from her Yorkshire mansion. Claude drugged and kidnapped her, taking her to his planet. The drug keeps her from feeling fear. He promises her no harm. He is from Paothan and has an assignment he must fulfill today, to mate with her. He suffers from a rare but fatal syndrome. His illness, in a couple of months, will debilitate and start to perish, and there is no cure. Can a secret affair with a man from another world give hope to two people from separate worlds?

Spacewrecked With Joel Fennimore
Evangeline Perkins knows she is a good writer but not sure if she can do a biography of Joel Fennimore. She owns every one of the six, Spacewrecked films. She had fallen hard for Joel when she first saw him in the first film and the crush still stabs at her. She likes his resourcefulness. He strikes her as an Everyman. She fantasizes what it would be like to live on the planet with Joel. Can the two stumble upon a paradise that will let them be closer or drive them apart?

Soulful Sex: The Science Fiction Collection are three tales that hold the reader spellbound to the escapades that each character endures. There is romance and desire that blossoms with a passion hard to release. I loved the story of Helen and how even at the age of thirty-six, she desires a baby. I found it a beautiful tale and simply fell in love with her. The other two stories are good as well, but it appears Helen's story gives it more of a heads up, with an elegant read. Diana Laurence creates three stories into the science fiction world that explore many possibilities. She weaves some joy along the way that gives the mind some thought while stretching the imagination with so much potential.
