The two discover bloody towels, indicating that a fall down the stairs was not the cause of death. This is a nifty little puzzle with a shocker of a solution. Mona is wooed by her old boyfriend, now a married man with some deep secrets. There's a mentally challenged 16-year-old, neighborhood kids who refuse to leave, strange experiments on mice, and more criminal activity than any small town would support.
