| Michael's best friend was killed by a vampire. So what's he doing hanging out with one? They're helping each other hunt vampires who hurt humans. The first call on Michael's new cell phone that's a gift from his mother comes from Dr. Jim Harman. He thinks there may be a mutant vampire in Wisconsin. Harman wants their help to catch the vamp in the interest of research. A vampire himself, he wants to find a cure.
Jordan Castillo Price continues this tale with more great eroticism and the dry humor that's priceless. Even if it weren't for the good versus evil crusade to right wrongs this author's humor would be worth reading. Michael and Wild Bill have that self deprecating look at life and each other that makes them seem even better than they are already. This time it seems like their quarry may be causing less harm than the good doctor who wants their help. Since I adore Michael and Wild Bill his attempts to woo Michael and that vamp to vamp power struggle with Wild Bill makes him an aggravating bad guy in my view. The boys come up with a humane way to deal with the problem and go off for their own version of fun and games. This is a great series and I look forward to more books to come.
