I enjoyed this story a lot, I thought it was fun to read and I loved the way Sylvie was not afraid to go her own way. I would have liked it even more if the author had spent more time on the characters and what they did for a living. I never really figured out what their talent was, Kalen’s was mentioned only once, and I don’t think that Sylvie’s was mentioned at all. I’ve read the other two of this series, and I thought that the first one, Elemental Passion, was the best out of the three so far. If you want to understand Kalen and Sylvie’s world a little better, I recommend that you read the series in order; Natalie Damschroder developed an excellent background that really makes the stories come together.
