| Sidra is a extraordinary singer, convenient playmate of one man, beloved by another. The evil Commander Zydon has had his people, including Sidra, under his heel for too long. The Andromedas, a rebel group led by his daughter, has convinced Sidra to aid them is ridding the country of the man who has harmed so many.
Adrianna Dane has given us a book full of love, betrayal, a country in civil war and people who make commitments with all of their heart and soul. The love story of Sidra and Lance is built on love and lust then their characters branch out developing as the tale continues. I enjoy stories where women are able to shine as truly heroic, equals with the men whose courage is usually assumed. Sidra is willing to give up her love, her life, even her soul for the betterment of her family and her world. In the midst of the seriousness of the tale Sidra and Lance have their erotic interludes that are excellent. A little comic relief comes from their practicing variants on their home world’s terms for body parts. Ms. Dane has done another great job. I think people will enjoy the story for its depth, the characters, the dialogue and for the well done twist in the ending.
