Professor Theresa Fallon, at 32, was the oldest of four sisters. She was making a trip from Sydney to Vancouver to help her baby sister prepare for her dream wedding—two weeks away. She planned to grade exams from her students where she taught in Australia. She searched for a wedding planner in the airport gift shop. The clerk tried to get her to purchase a new best-seller but she said she didn’t read junk. She didn’t know the author was standing right beside her.

Damien Black was surprised to find his seatmate was the woman who had turned down his novel. He was on his way to America and Canada for a book tour. The woman who was seated by him was unaware of his identity. When they talked, Theresa was aware of the flirtatious flight attendant. Damien was interested in Theresa so he told the attendant that they were engaged but it was a secret. Of course, we know that has to come up later and cause problems.

Susan Lyons has penned a great book that is the first in her “Wild Ride to Love” series. It will, of course, follow her other sisters, I believe. I plan to follow the entire series and look forward to reading them. This book obviously was a “Wild Ride” on an airplane. The plot of this book was one that interested me so that I wanted to read it straight through.

Her two main characters were so very different. The professor had gone through a messy 3-month marriage to a former colleague who used her terribly. The novelist was not nearly as serious-minded as Theresa. Sparks flew on that long first part of the flight from Sydney to Hawaii. The sex was not only explicit—it was frequent. It was, however, beautifully written. The book is not for the faint of heart and the warning was very well displayed. The supporting people were terrific to read about. The surprise ending was, in my opinion, a bit rushed.

I recommend you read this book. It is my introduction to this author and I loved it.
