Sally Young and her brother-in-law Nathan are part of a spy ring during the British invasion of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1877. As proprietors of Young's Coffee House, and claiming their allegiance to England, Major Jack Tyrell and his aide, Martin Green, moved into their dwelling and took up residence. Major Tyrell was thrilled to be dealing with Tories who were unopposed to sharing their space with "redcoats."

Sally and Nathan played their parts so well that it was never considered by the British that they were among spies. The first time Sally was searching the Major's room, she almost got caught so she undressed and jumped into his bed. When he came into the room, he was totally shocked, but thrilled, to find her there. That night was the beginning of a relationship where each was in love, or at least in lust, and they enjoyed an incredible sex life for several months. Of course, there was always danger, but Sally did not think about it, and Jack was too thrilled with his lady love to even consider it.

This was an incredibly sexy story which was both fast paced and a speedy read. The story ended much too quickly and I would have loved to read more about this couple. The sex was explicit, but not offensive. There was much more to this story than just sex; the plot was wonderful. I think Ms. Lyndi Lamont has a winner!
