Anne Rainey has penned a well-written sensual story, with great believable characters. Gideon was such a great hero, he was a strong, sexy, gorgeous, somewhat domineering man with a big secret. Lori was sweet, shy and insecure on the sensual side. It was so much fun going along with these two very different characters as they struggle to get past secrets and hurts from the past to discover love. The passion between Gideon and Lori burns up the pages and kept me reading to the very last sentence. I would highly recommend this one to anyone looking for a spicy read that will keep them anxiously turning the pages to see if Gideon and Lori can hold on to love.
