| Diana Laurence took me back in time when I attended Christmas parties and when I was a Secret Santa where I tried to buy for the person that I drew. She reminded me of making difficult choices where I had to choose between two or three gifts, and even had me pegged with giving a gift for selfish reasons!
Secret Santas is a well-written story that most readers can relate to. It is easy to visualized shopping in a department store, smelling the Christmas-sy smells, and getting into the spirit of the holiday season. Jaymie Reno had worked in the cubicle across from Jeff Morgan for six months and never paid the least bit of attention to him. Jeff was shy and a loner so that everyone at the company was surprised when he signed up to be a secret Santa! Jaymie's friend had drawn Jeff's name and asked Jaymie for help in choosing his gift as no one really knew Jeff and she was the perfect choice to spy on him and look around his cubicle. As Jaymie chatted up Jeff, she found that he had a crush on her, that they had more in common than she thought! During the week leading up to dinner at the bosses' country club, Jaymie secretly wished that she had drawn Jeff's name. Who knew that he was a hunk?
