Snyder has written this story with such emotion as the reader is led through the sadness and pain that is Dae’s life. We get to go along as he struggles to believe in an impossible future of love, gentleness and happiness. Where this would definitely not be for someone looking for a wine and roses type of romance, as it is at times violent and speaks of unbelievable tortures, it is also at times sweet with terrific characters. I hope to some day read a sequel so we can find out if Delia finds her happily ever after. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a romance that pushes the boundaries and leaves them wanting more.
