| Aubrey Crawford is a mystery writer from the US who's fallen in love with Internet relationship specialist Benn Morrison through their communication online. Their first meeting in London turns into involvement in international intrigue before they ever meet when Benn is mistaken for a terrorist and kidnapped.
Christine London has penned a tale that jumps from Benn being kidnapped to Aubrey having to flee for her life. Benn is delivering diamonds to his father that his mother stole when they separated. Then we find ourselves involved in an international intrigue involving certified versus conflict diamonds. The bad guy who Benn is mistaken for is named Steele then it changes to Sterling. The pieces of the story don't fit well for me. There's a fairly good underlying story about Aubrey and Benn's romance but overall I found the book confusing. Too many bits of information had dead ends that just made me shake my head over it as a whole.
