P.L. Parker has continued the story of Geena, Micah, Nathan, Riley, Jonas, Seth, Allie, Beth, Brett, and Jeremy, a group of time travelers that we first met and grew to love in Riley's Journey. This is the story of Geena and Seth and what they go through when Geena is separated from the group and attacked by Cro-Magnons and Seth goes back to get her. The struggle that they go through to rejoin their friends is filled with trials and tribulations during this journey is amazing. During this period of time, Seth and Geena come to realize that they love each other and were meant to be together. The joy they feel when they finally reach their friends is short lived as the group is still being hunted by a group of Cro-Magnons who are relentless in their ability in tracking and hunting them.

The ups and downs and challenges that this group experiences keeps you reading and you can't wait to see what happens next. The small group of natives that they meet up with and add to their family makes the story interesting. The details of the land, the animals and the people are fantastic. The descriptions are so well done that you can actually see and feel the places, especially the area by the ocean that they finally reached and settled in. You really feel like you are there.

Once again Ms. Parker has written a story that is entertaining and interesting. It is well paced and exciting. She just keeps getting better and better and I can't wait to see what she writes next.
