Drew realized he made a huge mistake soon after leaving Zoe, but his intense feelings for her scared him, and he left to allow both of them time to mature. Three years later they meet up again and both realize the strong feelings are still there. But both have changed and they now have to confront past hurts and decide if there is a future for them.
Sand Angel is the perfect title for the heroine of this book, and I have to say how much I loved the cover – erotic but with a touch of innocence also. I loved Zoe’s attitude towards the sport that is well known for being male dominated. Zoe’s determination and will have driven her to the top of the sport. That same will and determination could also be her downfall, and watching Drew learn to trust her capabilities makes the reader fall in love with him. The plot moves quickly with lots of sporting action and very real relationships that the average reader can easily relate to. The sexual attraction between Zoe and Drew is explosive and super hot. The author does a great job with all aspects of this book, and I really hope to read about Zoe’s brother, Josh, in a book one day.
