Madie Lanham, at twenty eight years of age, had hit rock bottom. After two years with Dennis, they were through. She had to move because the apartment was his. On top of that, corporate downsizing got her job. Now, homeless and jobless, she had no where to go—except home to her parents. She wasn’t quite that devastated yet. When she answered an ad for a six-week temporary live-in housekeeper, she knew that job was perfect for her circumstances.

Adam Gerste, an attorney, was new to the area. His friend Elsa was helping him through his latest crisis. His case was demanding so he had no time for the normal chores of home. A short-term employee who could cook, clean, unpack the rest of his boxes and do his grocery shopping would be an answer to his present situation. He certainly didn’t expect someone who was as young or looked so good to answer the ad. Since his friend did the hiring, he knew she was hoping to distract him with his new employee.

Ms. Celia Jade has presented us with a great fast-paced novel which I found hard to put down. She delved into the personalities of her characters so that I felt they were actually real. The sensuality of this book was enough to keep up the tension. The transfer of affections was a bit rushed but effective.

I enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it to others. It will prove to be an excellent break in reality. She has an almost perfect character list. I highly recommend this book to anyone. You will definitely not be disappointed.
