| Elayne has to invest in another refrigerator when hers quits. Being the psychic that she is, there is something quite strange about this old-fashion icebox she just purchased. Whenever she opens the door, there are different foods with unusual tastes. In fact, every day there is something really peculiar about the insides of her icebox. When she pulls out a bowl of soup and sits it on the counter, her cat happens to begin eating it. Suddenly her Siamese cat has turned into a troll, leaving Elayne speechless.

If she wishes her cat returned there is a condition. If Elayne delivers a message to her cousin, Queen Airmeda of the Heatherlands, she will reverse the spell on the cat. She knows she is the only one left to put things back in their perspective order. What Elayne discovers is a land filled with friendship, griffons and something she has never had, true love. The Romance of the Unicorn is a book that sends you on a magical tour with chivalrous men, intelligent women and extraordinary enchanting creatures. It is a fast journey that spins with a precarious excursion and amiable amusement, making you feel a part of everything. The fairy tale was incredible and the women really endured. Imagine cleaning out a refrigerator to find a pathway to a whole different world! No sooner had I started reading, I was hooked. Ms. Clay has composed an enchanting tale that will take you on a ride of your life. For a moment I thought Aladdin's magic carpet would appear, the ride was so magnificent! This tale was wonderfully written. Ms. Clay pens a story that will make you believe in fairy tales.
