This was another enjoyable, cozy mystery. In book two of the Patty O'Donnell series the author provides readers with another fantastic caper in an exotic location. My only complaint with this story was that once again husband Micheal played such a minor role and I really would love to learn more about him and his relationship with our heroine. The three con men were wonderful characters and each was so fully developed that I couldn't help but feel a connection with them, be it a good feeling or a bad one. There were also so many secondary characters to add plenty of flavor. Once again I felt like I not only enjoyed the book but that I got some knowledge as well on various subjects including, horse racing and training as well as the sad history of Argentina. Just a note, I highly suggest you read the first book in the series before starting this one, not because you need it for understanding but rather this book gives away plenty of spoilers if you'd like to go back and read about Patty's previous escapade. I cannot even guess at what Patty will get up to next but I will say I'm looking forward to reading all about it.
