| Amery Llewellen is the heir to the throne of Pharr. Amery knows that he has been groomed since birth for the position of king, but at the thought of losing the love of his life, he's unsure if being king is worth it.
Tovin and Amery have been in love with each other for years. Secretly they meet to share the passion that burns between them, but during the day they must fight and act as if they hate one another so no one will find out their true feelings. When the castle is threatened and Amery is faced with the real possibility that he could loose Tovin forever, has his decision been made for him? Overall I enjoyed this story. It was an exciting, action packed tale of love, passion and duty. I loved sharing the journey with Amery as he struggled with a decision that would ultimately cost him the throne or the love of his man. Where I found Tovin strong, self confident and willing to fight for what he wants, I found Amery to be strong and sexy but complaining at times. Even with that, it was a sweet love story during a time when such love was forbidden. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a passionate story with hot sex and sweet love between two gorgeous men.
