Military service is to be commended; black operations, however, requires even more respect. It’s a level above everything else known about Uncle Sam’s maneuvers. When these men go undercover, it gives new definition to covert operations! This trilogy explores different men and their encountered “procedures.”

“Trey” didn’t want a girlfriend; he had no time for one; worry about a woman in his life could jeopardize his safety if his mind wandered during tactics. His friend Jack was not concerned. He’d tried for two years to get Carly McAfee, the owner of the local bar, to date him. She was not interested. It was obvious to everyone except Jack that Trey and Carly were attracted to each other but each was trying to deny that magnetism. Best friends did not sabotage each other’s relationships, right?

“Jack”, with his entire team, was on two weeks furlough. Of course, he went home to Pigeon Hollow and the horse farm his youngest brother ran for the family. His older brother, Jimmy, was also there recovering from a disastrous undercover assignment.. Jack was immediately physically aware of a new employee, Nicki, and he knew she was hiding something. There was just no way a woman like that could show up in a little southern town like his hometown and also have mob connections! What was she hiding? And why?

“Jimmy” was undercover as a waiter at a high-class party when he became acquainted with an incredibly beautiful woman named Lia. After one unbelievable night with her, Jimmy was sent undercover where he was captured and tortured. Six months later, when their paths again cross, he finds out “his” Lia is actually Amelia Monroe-Carrington, the governor’s daughter. What future was in store for this couple?

Ms. Johnson has raised the bar of excellence in writing. I love her style and her technique is awesome! Again Ms. Johnson has shown there are stories within her that compliment each other and excel in her storytelling. This is another work of the author I am fast becoming addicted to which should be read by everyone. It is definitely not to be missed!
