Aubrey Ross builds a sizzling romance between Vihlok and Rana, two would be enemies. It's a tale full of intrigue as well as erotic fantasies fulfilled. The lovers are well matched as adventuresome in their sex lives but honorable in their dealings with others. The villain, King Vega of Seronite, is none of the above. He's not a man of honor by any stretch of the imagination and his bedroom romps are locked into a routine as bland as his personality.

This is one of those great fantasies that we all like to indulge in. Who wouldn't want to believe that ignorant and vicious people could be beaten by those who are good? Rana's been planning a non hostile takeover to stop her mother the Empress from hurting their people for a long time. But, being young, she let her fantasies control her and get her into a situation almost beyond her control. Hmm, I can relate to that. Many of us do get wiser as we get older or have the right people around us! Apparently Ms. Ross can relate too as she weaves this wonderful tale of good people joining forces against evil.
