San Clemente, California was a buyer’s market. As part of the real estate sales team of Brundage Realty, Ashley Martin was substituting for Ruth after her mom had an accident. Ashley went into the office to meet Ruth’s appointment, Devlin Gallagher, but Erin, the office siren, had already made a play for Dev. He, however, only saw dollar signs in her eyes and told her he was married (which he was not)!

Later, as Ashley and Dev spent more and more time together looking at potential homes for him to purchase, Erin became jealous and told Ashley he was married. Of course, this was after they had made love in a walk-in closet in one of the homes they toured. Ashley had been very particular about men; this did nothing to help her self esteem. However, she could not seem to stay away from him.

This book is a very sexy, very erotic look at the, almost, instant attraction between two people who know almost nothing about each other except that the chemistry is HOT! Ms. Lamont takes the reader through the backgrounds of the couple to show how important their pasts are to their possible future together. I really loved this book and recommend it to anyone who would like to have a break in reality! It’s that good!
