Although Jewell is overqualified for the position at Bulwark Mutual Funds, she meets Mr. Traynor for a job interview as administrative support to Kevin Burke. While she is waiting to meet with Mr. Burke himself she sees a woman nearly collapse because Mr. Roth, the international fund manager, has just been very rude to her. When she meets the man himself and sees how he bosses everyone around she can't keep her mouth shut and she gives him some sarcastic comments on his behavior towards the other people he's working with. He really needs to learn the words please and thank you! Thank god she doesn't have to work for him.

When Mr. Traynor calls her in the evening to tell her that the position as administrative support has already been filled by someone internally, he offers her an even better job, more money and a level up. It sounds so wonderful, but.. she'll have to work for Mr.Roth. Gorgeous but oh so rude Mr.Roth. And after the last time she met him, how will it be?

This story mesmerized me from the beginning till the end. It was written in a way that sweeps you of your feet from the very beginning. You fly trough the pages, being written very lightly and no difficult vocabulary. Being a foreigner, that is a very important aspect to get through a story. The characters all had their own original personalities. No characters I've read about before. Mr. Roth is a hearing impaired man and Jewell is a strong independent woman, Jewell brings forth some very good examples about how we should treat other people and the story definitely gives you some time to think about that! It's a very unique love story where you wont feel like you've read it before and it's definitely a TOP debut!! Thumps up for this excellent new writer!
