School for Scandal by Susan Johnson
James Bell, Viscount Ormond, heir to an earldom, has a reputation for being a womanizer. His suave charisma extends too many, especially when it comes to young women. Seduction comes easy for him but Claire Russell intends to show him it stops with her younger sister, if she has something to say about it. When the Viscount host a private masked ball, Claire attends the party set out to show the Viscount, no amount of charm he throws at her sister will be accepted. The school mistress is all set to stand her ground until James proposes a very enticing offer setting even her soul on fire. With the ball in her court, will Claire give in to the sexy rake or walk away without a word?

The sparks definitely ignite in School for Scandal. The theme of the story intrigues and carries the reader into the elite of the Victorian era, and all the society it entails. Ormond certainly does have a charisma about him that one can’t really hate. He and Claire set the stage on fire in this enticing, sizzling read that explodes. Susan Johnson has a way of captivating an audience and keeping them locked in until the story is over.

Mischief and the Marquess by Sylvia Day
Lady Sophie Milton-Riley and Justin, the Marquess of Fontaine have mothers who believe they would make the perfect married couple. Even though they have been friends since childhood, neither believes it is a prerequisite they should marry each other. The mothers believe they are compatible in every way but Sophie and Justin intend showing just how opposite they really are and do not make good bed partners. He loves animals, she doesn’t care for them. She loves her perfume, but he is allergic to her fragrance. The list continues as they fight the growing heated chemistry that seems to put a sizzling spark in their steps.

Sylvia Day always amazes me with her stories. She takes two lovable characters; tosses in some mothers to add a twist to the story, then tops it off with a great plot that makes this read fantastic. With just the right amount of wit between Sophie and Justin, she sketches a wonderful tale that kept this reader flipping the pages. I could watch Sophie and Justin go at it everyday and still feel something sparkling and refreshing.

Mischief and Marquess is indeed a splendid story that engages.

The Ruby Kiss by Noelle Mack
Susannah Fowler is quite the catch for any man who enjoys an independent woman with an energetic spirit and witty when the moment strikes. With her sexy curves, she is quite the eye-catcher but underneath those lush curves, inside her corset, a fortune of stolen jewels is stashed. As a servant of the Queen, Carlyle Jameson was entrusted to take Susannah from India back to England after her father’s death. He is aware of the stolen jewels. Carlyle plans to recover the jewels and give them back to the person who placed them in the corset. He had no idea that another person was lurking nearby hoping to retrieve the jewels, nor the fact the closer he and Susannah become, the stronger his lust for her flared, and the weaker his heart gives into many heated temptations.

The Ruby Kiss is magnificent turn of events. I love the way Noelle Mark weaves some mystery into the storyline, as well as the way she unearths some great interactions between Susannah and Carlyle that steams the pages. She creates characters that work together and not against one another. The high energy spirit she instills in Susannah really blended well when matched with Carlyle. This tale is a delight.

Perfect Kisses is a great assortment of three historical tales that keep the reader mesmerized. Each story holds something interesting for any one. I could almost feel the excitement between the characters with their ‘undress me’ or ‘kiss me’ statements. The three talented authors have penned steamy, sensual tales that hold the audience captive until the last page in this satisfying read.
