Sir Dominic, the Undaunted has been ordered to bring her and he always succeeds in his missions. Nothing the lady tries is going to stop him from accomplishing his goal. Rowena feels something for Sir Dominic she has never felt for another man, desire. She hopes to seduce him in order to get her way. The Pendragon Curse is a fascinating tale that includes fairies and dragons. Fast paced, the tale behind the curse will interest the readers but it the story of two strong-willed characters as they interact and confront one another that readers will find most captivating. This is a medieval romance that shares with the readers the importance and magic of love. Readers will quickly attach themselves to the character of Rowena, a woman ahead of her times. She appears as a strong and independent woman that does not need a man in her life telling her what to do. Readers will be able to see below this strong surface to the scared woman that desires to be loved and fears her vulnerability. Dominic is everything a woman can dream of in her hero. As a strong, masculine alpha male he takes what he wants and pushes the female into realizing the truth behind what she desires. He knows a weaker man would not succeed but too heavy a hand could crush the fiery spirit of the woman he cares about. He will find his temper tested and at times he will be completely frustrated but if he wants to succeed in the end he will learn the art of the compromise. Sometimes this character seemed a little too self important and he was not beyond using manipulation to get what he wants. But still readers will hope that he succeeds in winning the lady’s heart. Passion is slow to be recognized in this story although the attraction is easy to see. These two characters tease and torment each other before finally coming together. Explicitly described these two will come together in heated scenes that will delight and stimulate the readers’ imagination. As in all fairytale there is an evil villain that readers will find quite easy to hate. Edwin sets the bar in which all the other characters will be judged. He and one other are the catalysts to all the action and suspense in the story. The readers will anxiously wait to see how far this madman and his cohort will go to get what they want. This tale includes all the thrilling action and conflict expected in a medieval romance plus the exciting magic that makes this a fantasy. The Pendragon Curse by Cyndi Friberg is an imaginative tale recommended for those readers that enjoy the historical or fantasy romances.
