| At first glance Cassia Kinsley seems to lead what most people consider a normal life. She works. Her pets include a cat and three hamsters. She comes home from work, makes dinner, and sits down in front of her computer. Cassia, like a lot of people, has made online friends but has never met any of them. Until the day she starts her new job. Suddenly all bets are off.
My first reaction after finishing this book was “This can’t be all! Where’s the rest? It can’t end like this!” I found OVER THE WALL to be a rolling-on-the-floor laughing read. Theolyn Boese has created a cast of characters who aren't your average people even though they try to be. You see, Cass’s entire family is a family of shifters that includes a mongoose, a fox, and a rabbit. Then one day at work, Cass meets one of her online friends. Cass and Dar are like most people in that they are looking for Mr. or Ms. Right. Thanks to being online friends for so long, Cass knows all about Dar’s problems with women. Watching them as they discover who the other person is and get to know them and all their little secrets, had me laughing so hard. Of course the road to their HEA is not smooth. The hiccups in their road will have you busting out laughing. One thing I would liked to have seen in this book is a little more back story on how they all became shifters. But that’s just my personal preference and doesn’t really detract from the story. I highly recommend OVER THE WALL to everyone who enjoys quirky characters and likes a quick, fun read. I couldn’t put this one down and really hope Ms. Boese has more stories coming. I’m dying to find out what happens to Tantrum and El Fuzz.
