One and Only is the first book in Bianca D'Arc's Brotherhood of Blood series. I found this book to be an intriguing vampire tale. Here was a vampire who had lost the will to survive because after six very lonely centuries he had yet to find the woman who would make him complete. My heart went out to him. But when Lissa entered the picture, Atticus' world became brighter and he had finally found something worth living for. Lissa brought joyfulness, sweetness and most of all passion into Atticus' being. Their love affair was a magical event and the sexual play between the couple was sizzling hot and very erotic.

In addition to the super romance, there was also a little drama that kept the storyline interesting. Someone was after Lissa because of her psychic ability and the villain was willing to do whatever it took rid the world of her kind. It was amazing to see what lengths the villain was willing to go to in order to complete the mission. Readers, you will not be disappointed with One and Only. I can't wait to see what Ms. D'Arc has next in store for the Brotherhood of Blood saga.
