What a fabulous, fast-paced book! Ms. Jackson handles the thrilling suspense elements with as much finesse as the sex scenes. And while the heat between Ramon and Hannah threatens to melt the monitor, it never detracts from the heart of the story, which is a real treat for fans of adventurous romantic suspense. With a tortured hero and a heroine who will do anything (and I do mean anything) to find her daughter, this gritty tale is the ultimate guilty pleasure. Hannah carries so much guilt inside her over Ramon’s treatment while in the hospital that it’s easy to see why she’d risk so much to find him. Placing all her hopes on a man who might very well kill her is the ultimate show of trust, and the explosive passion that heats up between them as a result is very satisfying.
