| Skylar Daines was on a mission to find her father’s murderer and recover their stolen mustangs. Her father’s last words for her were to find his business partner to help protect her younger brother, their deed to the land and herself on the way to Wyoming. Unfortunately when she goes looking for Chance Morgan she discovers his drunken twin brother, Tucker.
As part of a joke Tucker ends up married to Skylar before she even realizes what has happened. On top of that he claims that the deed she has is actually to the Morgan brothers’ ranch land. Skylar has had enough of men trying to take what they don’t own and insists no smooth talker is going to swindle her out of the only dream she has ever had, that of having a home of her own. Skylar holds the deed hidden in her possessions and the skill to handle the mustangs which helps ensure that the Morgan brothers travel with them to Wyoming. Tucker hopes that along the way they can have the marriage annulled. The two of them traveling so close over an extended period of time has Tucker and Skylar struggling between desire and anger which makes for a very entertaining adventure. Join Stacey Kayne as she spins an exciting tale that takes place in the Wild West. The dust of the trail and the battle of the elements bring to life this story as a group of young people drive wild horses to Wyoming. Add to that the excitement of a gun toting killer and his posse out to stop them and the readers will be enthralled to the very end. The excitement comes second only to the emotionally stirring storyline. Skylark is unlike any young woman one expects to find. She is as tough as nails on the outside and can out work any man. But on the inside she hides the female aspect of her character. This is a part of her that she has had to repress for fear of appearing weak. This character steals the heart of the reader as well as the men around her. The pain and fear she experiences is tangible and readers will find themselves hoping that everything turns out right for this spunky female. Tucker has not had an easy life either. He is known for the trouble he finds as well as his big heart. These two characters are perfect for each other if they can just get past their stubborn natures. The sparks that fly between the two is only a prelude to the passion that is boiling right under the surface waiting for a chance to break free. When they are not arguing they are struggling to control their overwhelming desire. Readers will find themselves laughing out loud as these two try to work things out. Mustang Wild is a beautiful romance filled with passion and excitement. It touches the hearts of the readers and will have them holding their breath through all the danger and excitement. For all these reasons I highly recommend this story to all the readers.
