| Hot Earth by Vonna Harper
Calina Rambo never thought she'd be attracted to the gringo that popped out of nowhere and took her breath away. Calina is Mexican and never thought to be involved with a white man, but now her outlook and attitude has changed and she's seeing people in a different way. Sayer is very attracted to the beautiful Mexican woman, even if she is suspicious of him. In one sensual moment his life is forever changed and now he can't imagine his life without her. This story is so hot it will burn your fingers. Calina and Sayer's fall into lust and sex is imminent. In the very first chapter of the book they don't even make it to a bed. Of course sex is not the answer to their problems and things like background and race have to be worked out. Overall this is an intense story full of drama and romance. Mostly Sunny With A Chance For Belgian Chocolate by Elizabeth Jewell Alexa Walker fell in lust with the voice on the radio doing the weather forecast. Even though she imagined him to be short, fat and bald, what she actually got when she goes to interview him surprised her even more. The fact that he is black doesn't lessen her attraction to him. Carter is tall, dark and sexy and Alexa wants him. Alexa is soon agreeing to a date and from there things start to take off. Together can this couple make their relationship work? A great story with a side moral, don't judge a book by its cover. The story focuses on the relationship. The action is hot and heavy and the couple can't keep their hands off each other. I love stories that are about the relationships and not the racial aspect of the plot. This story kept you interested and involved. A great read all around for lovers of romance. Xavier by Stephanie Burke Xavier was not about to stand by and let a woman get gang raped, although he has to admit that the woman in question is doing pretty good on her own. Alena is intrigued by the man who shows up out of nowhere to help her and then rides off with her on the back of his motorcycle. What shocks her even more is when he asks to paint her portrait. Xavier is a painter who does tattoos for money, and has found inspiration in Alena. Xavier and Alena soon find out that color doesn't matter and love is the key. I loved this story! Alena has a kick ass attitude and Xavier is the bad boy with a sensual side. Once again the couple is interracial, but the focus is on the building of the relationship. The sexual tension is extreme, but when Alena and Xavier finally come together the sheets burn with the passion. They show us that love truly can be colorblind.
