Dr. Pat Rizzo is an authorized sex therapist. She is the host of ‘Love Lives,’ a number one late night radio show and the first sex therapist to investigate female self-esteem. With the use of a plan, she decides to reach out and help women unshackle themselves from their troubled sex lives. She learns many women seek sexual help, so with a little bit of persuasion from others, she creates The M.O.O.D Lounge to help any frustrated woman come out of her shell. She believes a sexual revolution has started and wants to be the one to bring the women into the future, helping with any need possibly causing a problem in a relationship. Dr. Rizzo believes it will be part of an independent movement to reach out to women, who are not fulfilled in their relationships, and those who seek to find the road will take their own liberties of finding the right relationship to evaluate their own lifestyles.

The M.O.O.D Lounge is the first book of a trilogy. I didn’t realize once I started reading that it starts off almost like a journal type diary. The reader is able to get more insight into the people and their problems or what really touches upon them. Of course with the myriad of characters involved, it is hard to really to get to know them on a single basis with so many events happening to them. Then there were some that I found not to bright as a light bulb. Zondra Hughes demonstrates a wide range of characters seeking the desire to expound upon their sexual liberties. Many touch upon aspects of events that have troubling issues and frustrations by speaking from their heart and in so doing, hope to expound more on the subject in this alluring tale.
