Monte has been experimented on and tested so much he doesn't think he will ever get free, until the doctor holding him brings in a human marine. Doc is everything he wants in his life, even if that life is in captivity. He knows that Doc will always love Rocky -- that has never been hidden from him -- but he didn't expect to ever meet Rocky. Certainly not as they escape from their captors.

Rocky never realised how he felt about Doc until he lost him. By the time he finds and helps rescues him, Doc has met and bonded with a young, cute elf. They are even expecting a child. When Doc gets shot and wakes with no memory of his relationship with Monte, Rocky comforts the smaller man and soon knows why Doc has fallen for him.

This wonderfully complex and totally addictive story is the second in the Dark Court series. Each of the three men thinks of the other two above themselves. Rocky and Doc are Marines and take their training very seriously and both want to protect Monte and the baby, while Monte is royal born but having had a difficult life, he loves his two men above all else. Add a royal castle, male pregnancy and evil human doctors wanting to make a super race and you have a page turning, sleepless night with three sexy men and the promise of more to come.
